This is a comedy about the intersecting stories of five women and their loves, hopes, problems, and failures: a romantic, an intellectual, an unsuccessful singer, one that dies in an accident, and one that contemplates the burial. Charo dreams of a blue prince like the one who smiles at her every day from the movie screen. Elena, intellectual and cold, doesn't believe in anything and makes a living doing home visits to tutor literature. Eugenia, who works at a couture house, doesn't have any problems but adopts the ones of her niece Soledad, who is trying to make it in Madrid as a singer. Mara, a model, lives for her dream of love. These five friends live together. Soledad gets a job as a seamstress. She later becomes a movie actress and falls in love. Charo discovers her movie prince seems to be gay. Elena wins the lottery and finally goes on a date. Mara becomes engaged to an older man but they die in a car accident. But, life goes on.
