Engineer Vance Pierson moves to Spain, where he will oversee the construction of his invention: a generator shaped like a ferris wheel. He meets a desperate young woman, Laura, who is trying to burn down her home for the insurance money she so badly needs. He stops the woman and they become passionate lovers. But soon Vance wants to end the affair he's having with Laura and go back to his wife and daughter. The jilted mistress flares up into a jealous rage and gets revenge by setting Vance's home on fire, killing his family. Horribly disfigured after an attempt to save them, Vance decides to seek revenge on Laura and her own daughter. He finds work as a repairman with a traveling carnival. Liz, the carnival owner's daughter, falls for the mysterious older man who turns out to be Vance in disguise. Vance sets Laura's home on fire and captures her daughter, but Liz pleads with him to spare the girl's life. In a final act of desperation, Vance plunges to his death from atop the carnival's ferris wheel.

This clip features some of Soledad's scenes from Pyro. She plays Liz, a very sweet but naïve girl who has a soft spot for stray dogs and older gentlemen. (Her lines are dubbed; this is not her voice.)
