Leonel is a pianist, nostalgic of sweet
melodies, while his son Tony is the (real-life) leader of Os Gatos Pretos (The Black Cats), a musical group. Leonel's
daughter, Cilinha, starts dating Raúl, a well-off young man, who promotes a new dancing club, the Lisboa Antiga e
Moderna, where old and new music get an even share. Tony and his girlfriend Babá get engaged. Everyone is happy at the end, when the old and new music stars play together.
